Rationale: The examination, evolution and presentation of an acceptable image in the public eye. This project is going to see how image is politicized by looking at how people choose to present themselves and the consequences that come from their choices.

Media representation of image

A really interesting article I found on an all-female campaign fighting for media representation. Project #Showus has gathered women from 39 countries to compile the world’s largest and most inclusive photo library in order to smash society’s idea of what it means to be beautiful.
